Christian Louboutin Madame Tall Boots

Woo hoo...What's this? A Louboutin made out of MESH!!
Just imagine your skin peeking out from the mesh...very sexy...and guess what? You can wear it over jeans too! SERIOUSLY!! Lookie here:
LOL, I had to laugh a little. I mean, this rather restrict your choice of socks, doesn't it? Besides, for $1,325, these boots are pretty much only good for spring. Ok fine, so the style isn't for everyone, since some like things to be truly covered instead of sheer...But hey, it's interesting and unique, isn't it?

DecadesTwo Pop-up at Post 26
What: Famed designer consignment boutique DecadesTwo is moving their merch to Brentwood for a Post 26 pop-up shop. Shop their curated stock of couture looks from Chanel, Balenciaga, Louboutin, Marc Jacobs, and more—with new merchandise added daily.
When: Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14, from 10 to 7 p.m., and Sunday, November 15, from noon to 5 p.m.
Where: DecadesTwo Pop-up at Post 26, 225 26th Street, (between San Vicente Boulevard and Georgina Avenue); 310-451-0950.
Went to this sale on Sunday...HUGE line taking up a whole block. I finally got in with chibi an hour later, and a lot of the shoes were old and worn-looking. One Jimmy Choo even had a missing tag on its sole, poor shoe... Nevertheless, there was a few good looking shoes and about half of the people coming out of the pop-up store had happy purchases with them. All the shoes were under $150. I am really sad I did not spot any Louboutins though. They might have been all taken up by other people before us...>_<~

Jimmy Choo for H&M launches tomorrow!!
Just a reminder that Jimmy Choo for H&M launches in 200 stores nation-wide on Saturday, November 14th at 10am!!
Don't forget, it's not just shoes~. There will be bags, jewels, and apparel for both men and women too. View the lookbook picture at FabSugar! Or go on H&M to see the collection overview. My faves are the bling bling accessories, as well as the suede, leather, and sequined clothing!!!
If you're the first 160 in line, you get a designated time to go into some of the areas in H&M on Saturday. And trust me, people will be there early to line up. Luckily, there is a limitation of one product per design per customer. So NO~! You cannot buy three sizes, try them out, and then return two. Go online and do your research on what you would like to focus on before going in store!!

Inexpensive Over-The-Knee Boots
Sexy over-the-knee boots (aka OTK boots or thigh-high boots) are all over the place this Fall/Winter, but if you are a frugal shopper like me, you will be gawking at the $500 and above price tag on many of these hot hot boots. (Saying "hot" twice makes it hotter.)
From all my finds, here are my favorites (and most inexpensive).
From my point of view, these two pairs of shoes from Two Lips are almost identical, except Kinky has higher heels (4" instead of 3 1/4"), a 1/2 inch platform, and an extra buckle. Well, there is also the $70 price difference of course. But that means you look taller, sexier and edgier in the Kinky. Both made out of suede, the Kitty Kat comes in five colors while Kinky only comes in grey and black. I bought the Kinky and wore it for the first time during my birthday (Halloween) with fishnet stockings. Obviously, I wouldn't wear it with fishnet stockings any other day but Halloween~! Anyway, it is one HOT pair of shoes...I mean, I was hot. The ribbon lace-up detail at the back of the boot shaft adds a very feminine and unique touch that you don't get with many OTK boots out there today. However, I am still on the fence about whether I should have gotten the Kitty Kat instead, because Kinky's 4" heels were a little challenging for a klutz like me. Also, I wish the shaft would be longer because I wanted it higher up my thighs than just simply over-the-knee. It was otherwise a very satisfactory buy and I hope to wear it out often!!

Here is another straightforward boots to fall in love with. The only unfortunate thing about these boots is the faux leather upper because you simply can't buy real leather boots at this price. With a 24" shaft, this will go higher up your thighs, so you can wear shorter hemlines in accompaniment. Pros are the 3/4 inch platform, cushioned insoles, and flat traction outsole. The 4 1/2 inch stiletto heel is something that could be considered a pro or a con depending on personal preference. Honestly though, I don't see the point of wearing OTK boots without heels. There is just that much more OOMPH!~ when there are sky high heels to go with the sky high boots! And if you MUST choose something with minimal or no heels, at least go with something interesting like the Matisse Buccaneer below. It is a little pricier than the other ones I featured, but I'm convinced it is the only way to go with flat OTK boots.

Polliwalks Kids Footwear Sale This Weekend!
I have a number of friends scheduled to give birth early next year, and a whole bunch of friends and cousins already have kids. So I thought it would be cool to share these shoes from Polliwalks, an amazing 59 to 75% off right now at 6pm:
Friday to Sunday Offer,11/6-11/8! Polliwalks Footwear- All Styles $9.95 This Weekend!
My favorites are these firefly ones that glow at the heel. HOW CUTE!!~~ They are available in four colors and many sizes.
My second favorites are definitely these puppy shoes, which might be a bit hot for my cousins in Indonesia, but would be perfect for winter ^__^. Well, ok, it's just cute and only $9.95, so I would find all sorts of reason to get kids to wear it.

LV Sensual Pump with LV signature golden sole
I apologise for not updating. I dropped off the face of the earth in order to spend time with my grandma on my mom's side in Surabaya (she had a stroke years ago and isn't doing that well physically), and I stayed at my aunt's place where there was no easy internet access.
Once I'm back in Singapore, I took my granny on my dad's side to ION, the newest shopping mall on Orchard road and there I saw Diane Von Furstenberg, Ms. DvF herself, getting interviewed at her new store opening. I wanted to go in and tell her how wonderful her designs are and to take a picture, but I didn't bring my camera (sob). Anyway, this Twitpic was just posted to LV's Twitter account and I thought it was share-worthy.
Of note, the Sensual Pump featured in this gorgeous picture comes with LV's signature golden sole. Hot, isn't it?!?? The golden sole is compelling enough to go up against Louboutin's red soles. However, I would have preferred it if the front was more rounded to give more room for our toes and also, if the golden sole didn't just stop halfway down the shoe (a rather abrupt and indecisive design, don't you think?). What do you reckon?

Going to Seattle - Prelude
Fishee and I are taking our moms (and Fishee's younger brother) on a road trip to Seattle today! We are passing by Seattle's Premium Outlet in the morning, and then going to Barneys and Nordstrom later in the afternoon and having dinner downtown with EC-chan. I'll be hunting for Rock and Republic denim for BeautyTamaki, and otherwise just enjoy browsing beautiful stuff at Barneys/Nordstrom. First of all, Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale starts today, so we'll be early birds! Also, if Barney's online sale is representative of what I might find in store, I'm really psyched! After all, they have pretty shoes such as this Stella McCartney Platform Sandal.
Isn't this shoe simply beautiful? Trust Stella to pair ivory lace with bling-bling in the shape of a bone. Having just shopped at Oakridge in Vancouver a few days ago, where there was nothing to feel excited about, I'm hoping this trip will be fruitful. In any case, I will report back at the end of the day with my conquests (if any), and items of lust-worthiness (if any).

Fergie Shoe Line: Merry, Quote, and Maxim
Fergie of Black Eye Peas (or Stacy Ferguson) may be the object of many plastic surgery rumors, but her new shoe line, launched in Spring 2009, has been quite affordable and on trend. Fergie's shoe line is filled with strappy sandals that she designs and wears too! I just saw this pair, the Fergie Merry, on Piperlime and loved semi-bootie, semi-sexy-pump look. It's really rather playful in a demure sort of way, don't you think? This would look great with a dress or a pair of skinny ankle pants. I want to throw on my cropped leather jacket for these shoes!
If you're not one to play quiet, perhaps Rachel Zoe's pick will work better for you. Rachel Zoe, the fashion stylist (and author) best known for working with celebrities and dressing them, picks out the shoes and bags that she likes at Piperlime
And if you are one to look ahead, then the Fergie Maxim in Grape soda may be best for you as the grapey red will be great for Fall, especially since RED is absolutely the color of the season this year. It seems Fergie's first shoe collection has been interesting and trendy. Whether we will see mixed reviews down the line like in Jessica Simpson's shoe line, or a widely positive vibe for Fergie shoes in the future, at least there will be something to look forward to!
Right now, you can enjoy 20% off orders of $125 or more at Piperlime. Enter the code SUMMERFUN at checkout. Free shipping & free returns too. Ends July 21.

Nine West Sale on 6pm.com
Check out the Nine West shoe sale at 6pm.com. Select shoe styles are all $29.95, more than 60% off their retail prices. I'm personally really tempted by the Kwest sandals, but again, there are too many color choices to chose from, and I can only eliminate the green one so far.
Sunday 7/12 to Sunday 7/19: Nine West Footwear - $29.95 Select Styles – “BRAND NEW STYLES”
