Random News on Hermès and Louis Vuitton

One-and-only $6 million dollar Hermès helicopter sold to United Arab Emirates. Though this makes no sense to me, it comes as no surprise. After all, Hermès has already delved into making luxury cars (the Bugatti Veyron) even better for the price of $2.35 million.

A woman was fined $7.5 million for selling FOUR counterfeit Hermès Birkins in Taiwan. Joyce Lee, the former Hermès employee, was fined for trademark-infringement by the one-year-old Intellectual Property Court in Taiwan. chibi claims that this act is useless because you simply can't take what Ms. Lee doesn't have. All she has to do is file for bankruptcy and the fine can never be realized. Too bad for the four customers she gypped.

In lesser news, a Rolls Royce in Monaco has been pimped with Louis Vuitton monograms designed by Takashi Murakami. The culprit is owner to Germany's largest and highest profile brothels and nightclubs. Speculation holds that LV will sue soon.
