There are some who calls Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($16 on Sephora) as "magic in a genie bottle". You put the primer potion on your eyelids before applying eye makeup and it makes all the eyeshadow you put on thereafter brighter and last longer. Almost 2,000 people has reviewed this product on Makeupalley and its overall rating is 4.6 out of 5, with 90% of the reviewers contending that they would buy this "magic potion" again.
I think it suffices to say that there is quite a bit of hype about this product, which is why I'm posting about it here. Personally, I have not tried the product, but the consensus seems to be that the packaging is quite poor (breaks easily), and you might get a bit of trouble blending the eyeshadow colors after it has been applied. Nevertheless, some people rave about how it is oil absorbing, crease resistant, color correcting, fast drying, and keeps eye makeup on perfectly. At the risk of sounding like a victim of the norm, I'm planning to try this when I get back to LA.
